Logan Newman

Logan Newman is the coordinator of marketing and communications at the Greater Phoenix Economic Council. Logan has also worked as an editor for Thunder Wire and as a sports intern for MLB.com, the Arizona Republic, and La Voz.

Logan Newman grew up in Phoenix, Arizona and attended Arizona State University. Logan became interested in journalism while interning at the Arizona Republic during their final semester of college. After graduation, they took a job as an editor for Thunder Wire, a website that covers up-to-minute events in the Phoenix area.

In 2017, Logan Newman returned to the Arizona Republic as a sports intern. Logan covered spring training for MLB.com, wrote articles for Fox Sports Arizona, and photographed and wrote about the Fiesta Bowl and other college athletics. Logan also reported on the Phoenix Suns for Cronkite News.

In their current position at the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, Logan Newman is responsible for marketing and communications. Logan works to promote the council's work to attract new businesses and investment to the Phoenix area.

Logan Newman has a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Arizona State University and has studied at Universidad de Granada.
