Alex Pak

Alex Pak has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Alex started their career as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company in 2001. Alex then worked as a Consultant at The Boston Consulting Group from 2005 to 2007.

In 2008, Alex joined BMO Financial Group and held various roles, including Senior Manager in the Office of Strategic Management, Director of Operations in Strategic Communication and Planning, and Director of Special Projects in the Office of the Special Advisor to the CEO.

From 2017 to 2020, Alex served as the General Manager and Head of Strategy at Canada Post / Postes Canada. Alex was responsible for shaping the company's strategic direction.

Currently, Alex is Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Great-West Lifeco Inc. Alex leads the Strategy team, supporting Lifeco and its businesses across Canada and the United States.

Throughout their career, Alex has gained extensive experience in strategic planning, corporate strategy, and management consulting.

Alex Pak completed an AB degree in Sociology from Harvard University in 1991. After that, they pursued an Honours BASc degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, which was completed in 2001. Subsequently, Alex went on to obtain an MBA degree with a focus on General Management and Strategy from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, completing it between 2003 and 2005.
