Katie Bially

Katie Bially has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Katie is currently working as a Video Editor at Green Buzz Agency since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Scoppechio and The 3 as a Video Editor from December 2017 to June 2021. Katie also worked at Twenty-One Films as a Lead Editor from November 2014 to December 2017, where their responsibilities included editing documentaries, motion graphics, and some graphic design. Additionally, they worked part-time filming with DSLRs, production assisting, and directing. Katie has experience as a Turtle Booth Operator at The Turtle Booth from November 2014 to December 2017. In this role, they operated the Sony FS700 and edited creative montages for corporate events and weddings. Before venturing into video editing, Katie worked as a Key Holder at White House Black Market from March 2013 to July 2014 and as an Equipment Manager at Appalachian State University from August 2013 to May 2014. Katie was responsible for managing media equipment and maintaining the video production equipment inventory during their time at Appalachian State University. Prior to that, they worked as an Office Assistant and File Clerk at Delta Contracting from May 2011 to December 2013. Katie started their career as a Hostess/Waitress at 116 Oak Restaurant from an unspecified start date to May 2010.

Katie Bially obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communications Electronic Media and Broadcasting from Appalachian State University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In 2012, they also briefly attended the University of Sunderland for Media and Production Studies. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Adobe After Effects Introduction from Wake Technical Community College in November 2016.
