Job description:

Cafeteria Manager manages the school cafeteria and the serving of breakfast and lunch.  They should ensure all operations are in compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • ordering of food

  • understanding of food inventory

  • meal planning

  • food preparation

  • safe food-handling techniques and procedures

  • train and supervise cafeteria staff

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years in food service industry (school cafeteria or restaurant)

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, etc

  • Serv-safe certified
