Lucila S.

Lucila S. serves as the Regional Associate Director for Climate Policy, Finance, and Carbon Markets at South Pole since January 2024 and is part of the UNFCCC Roster of Experts and the GCC Roster of Experts. Lucila holds a role as an International Sectoral Expert with the Green Climate Fund and has co-founded ClimAS LLC, where Lucila serves as Senior Advisor and CEO focused on climate change and finance. Previous experience includes a specialist position at the Inter-American Development Bank and consulting for the World Bank, among other roles in climate finance and public works. Lucila's educational background includes multiple master's degrees in law, artificial intelligence, and ICT, along with certifications in ESG investing and environmental studies from prestigious institutions including Columbia University and UCLA.
