Chris Pearson has a comprehensive work background that spans across various industries and roles. Chris began their professional career at Epson Europe B.V. as a Technical Specialist, where they provided top-level hardware support for professional graphics equipment. Chris then joined Heidelberg Australia & New Zealand as Team Leader Pre Press, overseeing regional pre-press support, project management, and pre-sales. Following this, they worked at Graphica UK as a Technical Director and at Setanta Sports as the Head of IT.

In 2010, Chris joined the National Basketball Association as the IT Manager EMEA, a position they held for four years. Chris then joined Opsec Cyber as the Managing Director and Cyber Security Consultant, specializing in digital forensics, incident response, and infrastructure recovery.

Chris's next role was with Kroll, where they served as a Senior Vice President of Cyber Risk, focusing on digital forensics, incident response, and post-incident infrastructure recovery. Chris also worked as a full-time contractor. After leaving Kroll, they joined Green Li-ion as the Head of Information Security in 2020.

Recently, Chris has joined Pragma as the Head of Incident Response - APAC, starting in 2023. With their extensive experience in information security, cyber risk, and IT management, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to their current role.

Chris Pearson has a Master of Arts degree in International Affairs from King's College London, which was obtained by the end of 2024. They also have a Master of Science degree in Advanced Cyber Security from the same institution, although the exact dates of completion are unknown. In addition to their formal education, Chris has obtained several certifications, including the RESILIA Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in April 2021, Cyber Incident Planning & Response (CIPR) from the Cyber Management Alliance in October 2020, NSE 3 Network Security Associate from Fortinet in March 2019, CompTIA Security+ ce from CompTIA in October 2016, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA in June 2016, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in June 2016, ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in June 2014, PRINCE2® Practitioner CPD from AXELOS Global Best Practice in February 2009, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Lead Auditor from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in January 2020, OpenText Certified - EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE) from OpenText in May 2018, and CISSP® - Certified Information Systems Security Professional from (ISC)² in May 2017. Chris also holds additional certifications from the British Army, Microsoft, and AXELOS Global Best Practice, although the specific details of those certifications, such as the dates obtained, are unknown.
