Carly Sitzer has held a variety of roles in the media industry since 2010. Carly began their career as the Ministry of Cool Editor for Buzzsaw Magazine. In 2011, they became an Editorial Intern and Freelance Writer for CBS New York. Carly then interned for AOL/Huffington Post Media Group and E! Online in 2012. That same year, they began an internship with Los Angeles Magazine. In 2013, they became Managing Editor (Digital) for In Touch Weekly and Life & Style Weekly, as well as Managing Editor (Digital) for In Touch Weekly and Senior Editor, Digital for In Touch Weekly. Carly also volunteered at Southside Community Center that year. In 2018, Carly became Senior Vice President, Editorial Operations for Engrost Inc., Distractify, and Green Matters. In this role, they lead and manages the editorial team of ~30 full-time employees across three brands and develops and implements data-driven content and audience engagement strategies that bring in more than 20 million unique visitors monthly.
Carly Sitzer attended Ithaca College from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a BA in Journalism. Prior to that, they attended Great Neck South High School from 2005 to 2009.
