Rod Cargill

Rod Cargill has extensive experience in the field of audit and risk management. Rod currently works at Green Plains Inc. as the Manager Operational Audit, where they are responsible for developing a comprehensive operational audit plan to strengthen risk management across the company's business units. Prior to this, they worked at Yahoo as the Manager - Global Risk and Compliance, where they collaborated with management to identify and assess business risks and performed operational, financial, and privacy compliance risk assessments. Rod also worked at Mutual of Omaha as the Internal Audit Quality Assurance Manager, where they established and led the internal audit quality assurance and improvement program, successfully leading three Internal Audit Quality Self-Assessments. Throughout their career, Rod has demonstrated expertise in evaluating the design and operating effectiveness of operational controls and driving process improvements within internal audit functions.

Rod Cargill completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Rod also holds the certifications of Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. and Certified Public Accountant from the Nebraska Board of Public Accountancy.
