Software Engineer at Greenhouse

Malik Felix has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and technical support. Malik started their career in 2013 as a Quality Assurance Specialist at Citi, where they were responsible for creating test plans and procedures. In 2014, they interned at TD Ameritrade as a Quality Assurance Analyst, executing and documenting test scripts for mobile application releases. Malik then worked as a System Administrator at Legg Mason, providing technical support and leading trainings for new technology. At EY, they served as a Technology Specialist, offering technical support to over 9,000 onsite users and leading small project teams. Malik continued their technical support roles at PepsiCo and Deutsche Bank, providing support to large numbers of onsite users and remote branch offices. Most recently, they worked at Sard Verbinnen & Co as an Information Technology Specialist. Currently, they hold the position of Support Engineer II at Greenhouse Software.

Malik Felix has a diverse education history, with a focus on computer science and software development. Malik holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Southern New Hampshire University. In addition, they attended Udacity in 2020 and 2021, where they pursued studies in Front-End Web Development. Prior to that, they attended Southern Careers Institute from 2019 to 2020, specializing in Software Development.

Malik also has several certifications to their name. In 2014, they obtained the Cisco IT Essentials 5.0 Certification from NPower Technology Service Corps, with a focus on Information Technology. Malik also completed professional development courses at Streetwise Partners in the same year. In 2012 and 2013, they earned a Technical Training Certificate in Quality Assurance from Year Up.

Furthermore, Malik has obtained additional certifications to enhance their skills. Malik obtained a Front-End Web Developer Nanodegree from Udacity in July 2021. In 2019, they earned a Google/CompTIA dual credential from Coursera, an IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from AXELOS Global Best Practice, and an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). Malik also holds certifications in CompTIA Network+ and CompTIA A+, obtained in 2014.
