Senior Information Security Specialist at Greenhouse

Mason Muntz has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Mason started their career as an Information Security Analyst Intern at Optum in 2015 and later returned as a Cybersecurity Analyst Intern in 2016. In 2017, they joined Optum again, this time as a Network Services Analyst. During this role, they played a key role in transitioning the company's infrastructure to Chef.

In 2018, Mason took on the position of an Associate Information Security Risk Auditor, where they conducted various infosec risk assessments and provided guidance for remediation. Mason continued to grow within the company and became an Information Security Risk Auditor in 2019, managing and training internal team members on the risk assessment process.

In 2020, Mason joined Zipnosis as a Security and Compliance Analyst, and they continued in this role after Zipnosis was acquired by Bright Health Group in 2021. In this position, they worked closely with the VP of Engineering and was responsible for configuring and validating information system security, coordinating audits, managing security awareness training, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and HITRUST requirements.

In 2021, Mason moved to Bright Health as a Lead Information Security Analyst. Mason led internal risk assessments, advised on risk mitigation, and ensured security requirements were met during infrastructure and workstation migrations.

Most recently, Mason joined Greenhouse Software in 2022 as an Information Security Specialist IV. Additional details about this role are not provided.

Mason Muntz completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Iowa State University - Ivy College of Business, from 2013 to 2017. In 2016, they also participated in an International Business program at CIMBA. Additionally, Mason has obtained several certifications, including the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² in November 2022, the CompTIA Security+ Certification from CompTIA in February 2019, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in March 2021, and the CCSFP from HITRUST in December 2018.
