Senior Software Engineer at Greenhouse

Sarah Maas has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2010, they worked as a 7-12 Math Teacher at Maddock Public School, where they taught multiple math subjects and developed differentiated lessons. From 2011 to 2012, they served as a Long Term Substitute at Fargo Public Schools.

In 2012, Sarah joined Bobcat Company, where they held multiple roles including SIOP Specialist, Call Center Credit Associate, and National Accounts/Government Sales Support. Sarah'sresponsibilities included managing sales support, credit processes, and accounts.

Moving forward, they worked at Border States from 2016 to 2018 as a Business Intelligence Developer. Here, they designed data models, created data views, and developed reports and dashboards using BusinessObjects tools.

Sarah then joined Oregon State University Ecampus as a Teacher's Assistant from 2016 to 2017, providing teaching assistance to students. Sarah also worked as a Peer Advisor (Tutor) during this time.

Following that, they worked at Intel Corporation from 2018 to the present as a Software Engineer, focusing primarily on backend Python REST APIs, Apache Airflow workflows, and Java/Kotlin Spring Boot APIs. Sarah also occasionally worked on frontend development using Angular.

Most recently, Sarah joined Greenhouse Software in 2021 as a Software Engineer.

Sarah Maas completed their education in a chronological order. Sarah earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mathematics Teacher Education from the University of Mary, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Post that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Mary from 2013 to 2015. Later, they attended Oregon State University from 2016 to 2018 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, Sarah also obtained several certifications, including the "edX Honor Code Certificate for Learn HTML5 from W3C," "edX Honor Code Certificate for Introduction to Linux," and the "edX Honor Code Certificate for Programming with C#," from edX in 2015. Furthermore, they earned a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification from Bobcat Company in December 2014.
