Youngchan Kim

Youngchan Kim, GDTP-S, is an accomplished mechanical designer with extensive experience in the design and development of mechanical assemblies and components across various industries. Currently employed at Greenlight Innovation Corp. since June 2023, Youngchan focuses on creating test stations for hydrogen fuel cells and electrolyzers. Prior roles include Design Release Engineer at Genesis Motion Solutions, where responsibilities encompassed leading a Design Services Team, establishing drawing standards, and managing engineering change procedures. Youngchan also served as a Sr. Mechanical Designer at AFCC Automotive Fuel Cell Cooperation Corp., successfully launching multiple fuel cell programs. Earlier career highlights include a Product Designer position at Dana Incorporated, working on assemblies for Ford minivans, and as a Research Engineer at Daewoo Motor Company, contributing to engine programs. Youngchan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hanyang University.
