Petra McGuirk

Petra McGuirk is an accomplished Human Resources Professional with over ten years of experience in strategic and operational HR service delivery across both private and public sectors. Currently serving as the Deputy Head of Human Resources and Development at Southern Regional College since June 2016, Petra has demonstrated strong leadership skills by managing teams and developing HR solutions in diverse, multi-cultural, multi-site, and startup environments. Previous roles include HR Business Partner positions at POSITIVE FUTURES and Oxfam Ireland, as well as HR Manager roles in local government, the Police Service of Northern Ireland, and a Business Process Outsourcing company. Petra's extensive background in HR began at British Airways, where the role of Regional Resources Executive was held for nearly two decades. Education was undertaken at St Malachy's, Northern Ireland.
