Dr. Javier Aget-Torres

Dr. Javier Aget-Torres, DNP, PMHNP-BC, serves as an Assertive Community Treatment Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at Community Access since March 2023, providing comprehensive psychiatric care to clients with severe mental illness through evaluation, medication management, and psychotherapy. Co-founding New Beginnings Behavioral Health in August 2022, Dr. Aget-Torres is dedicated to treating a variety of psychiatric disorders using evidence-based approaches. Prior experiences include a psychiatric nurse practitioner role at the Institute for Community Living, a community psychiatry fellowship at Community Healthcare Network, and various positions at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada, focusing on adolescents and low-income families. Dr. Aget-Torres earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Columbia University School of Nursing and holds degrees in Registered Nursing and Psychology from Columbia University and the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, respectively.
