Lynn Cherry

Lynn Cherry is the Chief Compliance & Risk Officer at Greenwood. Prior to joining Greenwood, Lynn served as Chief Compliance Officer at Brightwell from July 2011 to January 2021. Lynn has also held positions as VP, Compliance & Risk Mgmt at Skylight Financial from September 1999 to December 2011 and as Call Center Coordinator at Wachovia from January 1997 to December 1999.

Lynn Cherry has a Juris Master from Emory University School of Law in business law and regulation, a Bachelor's Degree in management from Shorter University, and an Associate of Science in biology from Atlanta Metropolitan College. Lynn also has certification from The Financial Technology Report as a Top 25 Woman Leader in Fintech 2020, IAPP as a Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM), American Bankers Association as a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager, and FIBA Bankers as an Anti Money Laundering Money Transmitter.

Their manager is Aparicio Giddins, President & CTO. They are on a team with Dylani Herath - VP of Engineering, Tara Kimbrough - Head of Talent, and Toyin Adon-Abel, Jr. - VP of Marketing Operations.
