James Gaythwaite

James Gaythwaite has a diverse and extensive work experience in technology roles. James is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Greenwood, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they held the same position at Taptap Send from January 2022 to September 2022, where they led engineering, product, and IT for a mobile remittance service across 38 countries. Before that, from August 2018 to November 2021, James was the Chief Technology Officer at Greenlight Financial Technology, overseeing engineering, infrastructure, IT, security, and analytics. James also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Square from November 2017 to August 2018.

James has also worked at ADP, where they held various roles including Chief Architect for ADP TotalSource from September 2015 to October 2017, and Principal Architect, Lead Software Architect, and Technical Architect from January 2009 to July 2014. James'sresponsibilities included technology executive for ADP TotalSource, organizing and developing the ADP Georgia product and development summer internship program, and serving as the ADP Campus Ambassador to Georgia Tech and Kennesaw State.

Additionally, James has experience as an Enterprise Architect at Teradata Applications from July 2014 to September 2015, a Software Engineer in Systems Development at Employease from May 2005 to January 2009, a Software Engineer at CCSC from October 2004 to August 2005, and in quality control at Affiliated Computer Systems from March 1999 to August 2001.

James Gaythwaite obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2001 to 2004. James then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, completing their studies from 2008 to 2010.
