Rachael Aptowitz

Rachael Aptowitz is GRID Alternatives' first-ever Equitable EV Charging Program Strategist. She is building out programmatic offerings for low-cost public EV charging in environmental justice communities across the country. Prior to GRID, Rachael led NYSERDA’s Scale For ClimateTech program, which accelerates climate tech hardware startups to market in order to reduce GHG emissions. She started her career as an engineer at General Motors during the automotive industry’s exciting transition to electric vehicles. She worked across vehicle development from manufacturing to the integration of the Cadillac Lyriq, the brand's first entrant into the EV market. She holds an SB in Mechanical Engineering from MIT.
