Yang Ji

Yang Ji worked as a Senior Software Developer at Gritworld GmbH from April 2018 to the present. In this role, they worked on various projects related to 3D graphics engine using C++. This includes tasks such as mesh simplification, optimization, stripification, clusterization, shape verification, topology representation, hierarchical LOD, runtime locking validation, multi-threaded asset importers, and asset repository management. They also developed multiport graph layout algorithms for asset reference and material node graph visualization.

Prior to this, Yang Ji worked as a Software Developer at Precitec Optronik GmbH from January 2015 to February 2018. In this role, they worked on C++ development in embedded Linux for laser metrology devices, specifically the software component of CHRocodile C products.

Yang Ji attended Nankai University from 2007 to 2009, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Opto-Electronics. From 2009 to 2011, Yang Ji continued their education at Tianjin University, also studying Opto-Electronics, and earning another Bachelor of Engineering degree. Finally, from 2012 to 2014, Yang Ji attended Queen's University, completing a Master of Applied Science degree in Physics.
