Connor Hyde

Connor Hyde has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Connor most recently worked as a Fertilizer Analyst at Gro Intelligence starting in October 2022. Before that, they spent several years at Argus Media, where they held various roles including Editor, Deputy Editor, and Americas Lead in the North American Fertilizer division. In these positions, Connor was responsible for generating breaking news, analysis, price assessments, and market commentary for the Argus publication. Connor specifically covered the domestic ammonia, UAN, and ammonium sulfate markets. Prior to Argus Media, Connor worked as a Reporter for Community Impact Newspaper, where they completed writing assignments and took accompanying artwork for lead stories, news reports, and features. Connor also gained valuable experience as a Pupil at United Press International, where they learned to strengthen story pitches and ideas and worked closely with UPI reporter Betsy Pisik to compose strong stories.

Connor Hyde attended Hendrix College from 2009 to 2011, however, no specific degree or field of study is provided. Following this, they attended Sam Houston State University from 2011 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies.
