Nick Balster

Nick Balster has extensive experience in the energy industry. Nick started their career at Precision Castparts, where they held various roles including Corporate Energy Manager, Program Manager, Business Unit Manager, and Operations Manager. During their time at Precision Castparts, they gained valuable experience in energy management strategy, talent management, equipment maintenance, and operational efficiency.

Nick then joined Dalkia Energy Solutions, where they served as Business Development Manager in Industrial Applications. In this role, they focused on helping customers reduce energy costs through enhanced energy management.

Later, at Dalkia Energy Solutions, Nick held the position of Director of Corporate Development, where they contributed to the growth of the company in the United States through acquisitions and organic strategies. Nick developed strategies, created M&A scenarios, and integrated acquisitions, gaining insights into corporate strategy and market dynamics.

Nick was then promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations at Dalkia Energy Solutions before taking on their current role as Chief Commercial Officer. As CCO, they are responsible for developing the commercial strategy, driving revenue growth, increasing market share, and identifying new business opportunities. Nick oversees sales, marketing, and customer service departments, maintaining relationships with key customers and contributing to the overall company strategy.

Nick Balster earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1995 and 2000. In 1997 and 1998, they studied abroad at the Technical University of Munich, focusing on Materials Science and Engineering. During the same period, they also attended Hochschule Mittweida. Later, from 2011 to 2013, Nick pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Entrepreneurial and Small Business Operations at Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they attended Marquette University High School from 1991 to 1995.
