Erin Bender

Erin Bender has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a First Grade Teacher at Grosse Ile Township Schools since August 2019. Prior to this role, Erin held positions including Head Swim Coach at Grosse Ile High School from July 2020 to January 2022 and Teacher at Menlo Park Academy from August 2018 to July 2019. Additional teaching experience includes a summer school position at Strongsville City School District, a long-term substitute teaching role for first grade at Cleveland Metropolitan School District, and a substitute teaching position with Rachel Wixey & Associates. Erin began a teaching career as a Kindergarten Teacher at North Ridgeville City Schools from August 2016 to June 2017. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Education, Early Childhood Education from Cleveland State University and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the same institution.
