Gemma Thompson

Gemma Thompson is an experienced communications manager currently with Group 11 Technologies since September 2021. Prior to this role, Gemma served as an administrative assistant at Golden Predator Mining Corp. from July 2017 to September 2021. Gemma's scientific expertise was developed as a principal scientist at Leatherhead Food Research from September 2014 to June 2017, focusing on food structure analysis and foreign body detection using advanced microscopy techniques. Additionally, Gemma worked at Campden BRI from January 2013 to November 2014, initially as a scientific analyst analyzing food safety using various chromatographic methods and later as a microscopist employing scanning electron microscopy and other techniques for foreign body analysis. Gemma holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Criminology and Forensic Science from Staffordshire University, completed in 2012.
