Maxime Bohin has extensive work experience in research and development in the food industry. Maxime began their career as a Trainee Researcher at Unilever in 2009 before moving on to Wageningen UR (University & Research Centre) where they worked as an Analytical Scientist and later as a PhD researcher in Food Chemistry. During their time at Wageningen UR, Maxime focused on creative analytical solutions for innovation projects, physical-chemical characterization of ingredients, and knowledge transfer. Maxime joined Nutriset in 2015, initially as an R&D Specialist before being promoted to Head of Product R&D in 2016. In these roles, they have led and contributed to the development of Nutriset's product portfolio.

Maxime Bohin's education history begins in 2004 when they enrolled at Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Agronomie et des Industries Alimentaires de Nancy. They completed their studies in 2008, earning a degree in Ingénieur / MSc in the field of Food Science and Technology. Following this, they pursued further education at Wageningen University & Research, starting in 2006 and completing their Master of Science (MSc) in Food Science and Technology in 2009. They then continued their academic journey at the same institution, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Food Chemistry between 2009 and 2013.
