Steve Gfell

Steve Gfell has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Steve is currently serving as the Director of Learning and Development at STAHLS', a position they started in June 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Talent Development Consultant at Remedi SeniorCare Pharmacy from March 2019 to February 2021. From December 2017 to February 2019, they served as an Area Manager at MT Business Technologies. Before transitioning into the corporate world, Steve held leadership positions in the education sector. Steve worked as a High School Principal at Blissfield Community Schools from 2015 to 2017, and at Swanton Local Schools from 2008 to 2015. Prior to becoming a principal, they served as an Associate Principal at Swanton Local Schools from 2006 to 2008. Steve started their career as a Teacher at Swanton Local Schools in 1999 and then became a Middle School Principal at Liberty-Benton Local Schools from 2003 to 2006.

Steve Gfell completed their Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in English from The University of Toledo between 1992 and 1996. Steve later pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from The University of Findlay from 2001 to 2002.

Additionally, Steve Gfell has obtained several certifications over the years. In July 2014, they became certified as an ALICE Training Instructor by the ALICE Training Institute. Steve also received certification in the Denison Organizational Culture Model from Denison Consulting in July 2014. In December 2013, they obtained certification in Active Shooter Incidents-Response and Planning from AFIMAC Global. Steve Gfell further expanded their certifications by becoming a Predictive Index Practitioner from The Predictive Index in January 2020. Most recently, in May 2022, they received certifications in Leadership Challenge from Wiley and Adult Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
