Chicovete Magagule

Chicovete Magagule has extensive work experience in finance and administration. They started their career as an Administrative Assistant at Jose Caldeira e Associados, Lda in 2004. They then worked as a Finance and Admin Assistant at Mozlegal, Lda from 2006 to 2007 and as a Finance Accountant and Admin Assistant at Afrilegis Adams & Adams Mocambique Lda from 2007 to 2008. In 2008, they joined KPMG Mozambique as a Senior Auditor until 2012. From 2012 to 2020, Chicovete worked as a Country Finance and Administration Manager at Aggreko Mocambique. They then served as a Cooperative Finance and Administration Manager at Maragra Açucar SA - Illovo Sugar Africa Companhia from 2020 to 2022. In 2022, they became a Finance Manager at Unitrans Africa and as of 2023, they hold the position of Head of Payables and Suppliers at Grupo Entreposto.

Chicovete Magagule completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Universidade São Tomás de Moçambique from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2009, Chicovete Magagule also attended the same university and focused on Accounting and Auditing, although no specific degree was mentioned. Currently, Chicovete Magagule is working towards a qualification from ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). Additionally, in February 2020, Chicovete Magagule obtained certification in SAP S/4 HANA Financial Accounting Overview from LinkedIn.
