Niels Boelema

Niels Boelema has extensive experience in the wood-based panels industry. Niels currently serves as the EMEA Sales Director at Garnica since August 2022. Prior to this, they were the Business Owner of PanelCon from July 2020 to August 2022.

From October 2014 to April 2020, Boelema worked as the Regional Sales Director Europe & ROW at MEDITE SMARTPLY. Niels was responsible for the sales of their innovative and environmentally-friendly products in Europe.

Before that, Boelema served as the Deputy Director at Woodvision B.V. from August 2013 to September 2014, managing operational affairs in Kampen, The Netherlands.

Niels also worked at CIP from January 2008 to July 2013, initially as a Manager of the Purchasing Department for Woodbased Panels and later as a Strategic Buyer responsible for global purchasing.

Boelema began their career as an Account Manager at RET from March 2001 to December 2003.

Niels Boelema attended Erasmus University Rotterdam from 1995 to 2003, where they obtained a drs. (Masters) degree in Business Economics. Before that, from 1988 to 1995, they attended Alfrink and completed their VWO degree.
