Silmara Cristina Basso has a diverse work experience in the field of data and analytics. Silmara Cristina currently holds the position of Head of Data at Grupo GCB since October 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Cielo as a Gestor para infraestrutura dados from June 2021 to September 2023. Silmara Cristina also served as the Head of Operations at RED Innovations from February 2021 to May 2021. Silmara has held leadership roles in data and analytics at Payly, Cielo, Telefônica Brasil, Boa Vista Serviços, Equifax, and IBM Global Business Services. Silmara Cristina started their career as a DBA/AD Oracle e SQL Server at Ogeda in 2004.

Silmara Cristina Basso completed a Tecnologia Big Data com Ecossistema Hadoop e Spark program at FIAP in 2016. In 2012 and 2013, they pursued an MBA in Gestão Estratégica e Econômica de Projetos at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
