Almudena Elvira Garcia

Almudena Elvira Garcia has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry, with a focus on technology and network planning. Almudena started their career at Arthur Andersen & Co. as a Corporative Telephony Network Engineer, working from February 1996 to April 1997. Almudena then joined Vodafone in 1997 and took on several roles, including Mobile Core Network Engineer and Product & Services Engineer, until 2002.

From 2002 to 2015, Almudena worked at Vodafone as a Senior Manager in various positions, such as Manager of IT, Product & Services Architecture, Manager of Network Project Deployment, Senior Manager of Network Operation and Support, Senior Manager of Network Organization Transformation, and Senior Manager of Mobile Network Engineering.

In 2016, Almudena joined Grupo MASMOVIL as the Head of Network Planning, where they were responsible for delivering network plans, managing budgets, and monitoring performance. Almudena then transitioned to the role of Head of Technology Planning in May 2018. Currently, they serve as the Head of Technology Strategic Projects at the company, leading cross-strategic projects in Technology and coordinating with other departments for successful delivery.

Almudena Elvira Garcia obtained a Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid between 1992 and 1995. In 2002 and 2003, they pursued an MBA (Master in Business Administration) with a focus on Enterprise Management at the Escuela de Organización Industrial.
