Curtis Stanley

Curtis Stanley has extensive experience in the field of environmental consulting, particularly in soil and groundwater contamination. Curtis has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. From 1977 to 1979, they worked as a Consultant for Geological Resources, Inc., where they conducted hydrogeochemical sampling and analysis for uranium resource evaluation. In 1979, they joined Shell as a Senior Principal Consultant, specializing in soil and groundwater management. Curtis provided technical and strategic support to Shell businesses worldwide, working on sites such as refineries, chemical plants, and Superfund sites. In 2016, Curtis founded their own consulting firm, Curt Stanley Consulting Group, LLC. Curtis also worked as a Principal Consultant at GSI Environmental, where they provided professional consulting services in the areas of soil and groundwater contamination, training, litigation support, and water resources. Overall, Curtis Stanley has a wealth of expertise and knowledge in the field and has been actively involved in various environmental projects throughout their career.

Curtis Stanley attended North Carolina State University from 1974 to 1979, where they studied Geology with a focus on Geosciences, Groundwater, and Engineering. In 1980, they enrolled at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to further their education in the field of Pollutant Movement in Groundwater. The following year, Curtis attended the University of Waterloo to gain expertise in Field Methods in Contaminant Hydrogeology. Finally, in 1983, they returned to the University of Wisconsin-Madison to study Water Well Hydraulics. Curtis Stanley has additional certifications including Certified Groundwater Professional - NGWA, Certified Professional Geological Scientist - AIPG, and licenses as a Geologist in both North Carolina and Texas.
