Michele Cavalera

Michele Cavalera is a Senior Research Scientist with experience in characterizing vulnerable plaques in diabetic patients, developing anti-diabetic food concepts targeting the cardiovascular system, and studying cardiac and aorta remodeling in various research positions at Lund University, HAMLET Pharma, and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Education includes a Ph.D. in Experimental Physiopathology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a Master's degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
