Rafael Ortega

Rafael Ortega has extensive experience in quality management and environmental health and safety (EHS) across various industries, currently serving as Head of Quality at INNOV'IA since October 2017. At Guerbet, Rafael has held the role of Group EHS & Risk Manager since June 2014, focusing on the design and deployment of global safety and environmental approaches while managing enterprise risk and international insurance programs. Prior to this, Rafael worked as Quality and EHS Manager at SIMAFEX, achieving successful FDA inspections, and at OM Group, overseeing the quality and EHS policy for the manufacturing of ultra-pure chemicals. Early career experience includes consultancy at SOCOTEC and engineering roles at Italcementi. Rafael holds multiple degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from several prestigious institutions.
