Project Manager II at Guidepoint

Freya Pilbeam has a diverse work experience in the project management and customer care fields. Freya is currently working at Guidepoint as a Project Manager II, a role they started in July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Project Manager from June 2022 to July 2023, where they managed various projects. From July 2021 to June 2022, Freya served as a Research Manager, and from October 2020 to July 2021, they were a Client Services Associate.

Before joining Guidepoint, Freya worked at EnviroBuild, starting as an Operations and Customer Care Intern in January 2019. Freya then progressed to become an Operations and Customer Care Executive, where they worked closely with customers and third-party service providers to ensure excellent customer service and manage stock orders. From March 2020 to August 2020, Freya served as the Operations and Customer Care Lead, where they managed a team of four and oversaw issue management and relationships with key service providers. Freya also created training materials for new starters across different departments.

Overall, Freya has gained expertise in project management, customer care, team leadership, issue management, supplier management, and training development throughout their career.

Freya Pilbeam attended Oakham School from 2006 to 2013. In 2014, they enrolled at UCL and pursued a BA in Modern Languages, specializing in French and Russian. Freya completed their degree in 2018. During their time at UCL, they also had the opportunity to study French Language and Literature at Université Bordeaux Montaigne (ex - Bordeaux 3) for a year in 2017. Additionally, they briefly studied Russian Language and Literature at Moscow Language Link in 2016.

In terms of additional certifications, Freya obtained the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification from Knowledge Train® in June 2020. In December 2018, they completed the Excel 2016 Essential Training course provided by LinkedIn. Freya also obtained a certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from The TEFL Org in June 2018.
