Nancy B. Kaplan

Nancy B. Kaplan has extensive work experience in the education field. Nancy B. most recently worked as the Head of School at Guidepost Montessori since May 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Head of School at LePort Schools from June 2016 to May 2019. Nancy also held the position of Middle School Principal at Georgetown Day School from 2011 to June 2016. Nancy B. started their career at Burgundy Farm Country Day School in 1998 as the Assistant Head of School for Instruction & Middle School Head, as well as an 8th Grade English Teacher. Before that, Nancy worked at Gunston Day School as the Director of Admissions, Academic Dean, High School English, and Women's Studies Teacher from 1995 to 1998. Nancy also held various roles at The Birch Wathen Lenox School as Middle School Principal, Middle School English Teacher, and MS & HS Drama Director from 1990 to 1995. Additionally, they worked at Prep for Prep as a 5th & 6th Grade English Teacher from 1992 to 1994.

Nancy B. Kaplan earned a Bachelor's Degree in English from Barnard College between 1985 and 1989. Nancy B. later pursued further education and completed a Master's Degree in Education Administration at Teachers College, Columbia University from 1993 to 1995.
