Jim Turner has a long and varied work experience. Jim began their career in 1994 as an Instructor and Trainer at Kaplan, Inc. In 2006, they became a Conference Producer at Strategic Research Institute, and in 2007 they took on roles at ZapThink and Fritz Institute as Community Programs & Events Director and Project Manager for BayPrep, respectively. In 2011, they joined the City and County of San Francisco Department of Emergency Management as Private Sector Liaison and the University of San Francisco Masagung Graduate School of Management as an Adjunct Professor. In 2013, they became the Executive Director of the California Resiliency Alliance. In 2015, they joined VertexOne as Director of Customer Relations - WaterSmart, and later became Associate Director of Customer Relations - WaterSmart. In 2022, they will join Guidewheel as Senior Customer Success Manager.

Jim Turner attended Trinity University from 1985 to 1989, where they obtained a BA in Philosophy / Theater. Jim then went on to the University of California, Berkeley in 2009 and obtained a Certificate in Mediation and Conflict Resolution. Finally, in 2010, they attended the University of San Francisco School of Management, where they obtained an MBA in Organizational Development and Entrepreneurism.
