Philip Nichols

Philip Nichols is a skilled Staff Software Engineer with extensive experience in full-stack Java and AngularJS development, primarily focused on Insurance Underwriting Applications. At Guidewire Software since October 2011, Philip has contributed significant expertise, building on previous roles at FirstBest Systems, Inc., where development for similar applications also took place from November 2011 to September 2016. Prior to this, Philip worked as a Software Engineer I at General Dynamics C4 Systems, developing applications for remote management of network encryptors. Early programming experience includes development work for the Boston University Linguistics Department and management of IT services at the Boston University College of Fine Arts. Philip holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Boston University.
