Mohamed Khalaf has extensive work experience in the financial and audit field. Mohamed started their career as an Auditor at PwC in 2003 and worked there until 2005. Mohamed then joined the Bahrain National Audit Office as a Senior Auditor from 2005 to 2007. After that, they worked at Solidarity Group Holding Company as part of the Group Internal Audit team from 2007 to 2010. Since 2010, Mohamed has been with Gulf Air, where they have held various roles including Internal Audit Manager, Manager Financial Control (Technical Business), and currently Senior Manager Financial Control.
Mohamed Khalaf's education history is as follows:
From 1998 to 2003, they attended the University of Bahrain and earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
In 2006, they obtained a CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) certification from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
In 2007, they acquired a CFSA (Certified Financial Services Auditor) certification from the IIA.
In 2008-2009, they attended the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) and completed an Insurance Diploma.
In 2017-2018, they pursued and obtained Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials with a focus on Finance and Audit.
From 2019 to 2021, they enrolled in TBS Education to obtain two degrees simultaneously. Mohamed pursued an Aerospace MBA and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Aerospace.
