Daniel Solove is the Eugene L. and Barbara A. Bernard Professor of Intellectual Property and Technology Law at George Washington University Law School, teaching courses in Information Privacy Law, Law and Literature, and Criminal Law and Procedure since 2004. As the President and CEO of TeachPrivacy and co-founder of the Privacy+Security Academy, Solove has also organized the annual PRIVACY + SECURITY FORUM in Washington, DC. Contributions to the legal field include serving as a reporter for the Restatement of Information Privacy Principles with The American Law Institute and holding previous positions as a Senior Policy Advisor at Hogan Lovells and an Associate Professor at Seton Hall Law School. Solove's educational background includes a JD from Yale Law School and an AB in English from Washington University in St. Louis. With ten books and over 100 articles published, Solove is a recognized authority in privacy law.
