Maya Barzilay, PhD

Maya Barzilay, PhD has extensive work experience in research and development within the technology industry. Maya is currently a Research and Development Scientist at H2Pro since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Associate and Lab Manager at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from November 2020 to December 2022. Maya also served as a PhD candidate at the same institution from April 2016 to October 2020. Before their role at Technion, Maya worked as a Research and Development Engineer at ADVANCED DICING TECHNOLOGIES, INC. from July 2012 to April 2016. Maya began their career as a Process Engineer at Tower Semiconductor from August 2011 to July 2012, where they played a key role in introducing a new product line. Maya also gained experience as a Process Engineer at Intel Corporation from June 2005 to February 2007.

Maya Barzilay, PhD, completed their education at three prestigious institutions. Maya started their academic journey in 2003 at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering in 2007. Maya then pursued further studies at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, earning a Master of Science degree in Materials Science from 2007 to 2010. Maya's educational pursuits culminated in a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Materials Science, which they completed at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2020.
