Riku Hytönen

Riku Hytönen's work experience includes several senior lecturing roles at various universities, where they developed sales and marketing courses and supervised students. Riku also served as the Competition Director for the European Sales Competition in 2024 and coached students participating in sales competitions. Prior to their academic career, Hytönen held management positions in companies such as Serres Oy and M-Real, where they were responsible for the hospital business division and global paperboard and packaging business. Riku has also led Orion Corporation's pharmaceutical business in the Asia Pacific region and handled export sales for Planmeca Oy.

Riku Hytönen obtained an M.Sc. (Econ.) degree in International Marketing, Economics, and English from the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration between 1984 and 1991. In 1987, they participated in an exchange program at Texas Tech University, where they studied Business Administration. Later, from 2011 to 2013, Riku pursued Vocational Teacher Education at Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
