Ian Melven

Ian Melven is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently, Ian serves as the Senior Director of Security at HackerOne, focusing on securing the Attack Resistance Platform. Previously, Ian held the position of Director of Security at Community.com, where responsibilities included building IT & Security teams guided by the NIST CyberSecurity Framework. Ian was also an active member of the OWASP Portland Chapter, contributing to chapter growth and organizing events, serving as Chapter Chair in 2019. Ian's earlier roles include significant positions at New Relic, Mozilla Corporation, and Adobe Systems, focusing on product security and open web initiatives. Ian holds a BA in Computer Science from Boston University.
