Emily Chen

Emily Chen is a UI/UX Designer at HackIllinois and has been engaged in various roles that highlight expertise in design and marketing. Previous experiences include Public Relations for Sigma Psi Zeta Sorority, Inc., and serving as a Marketing Intern at Candy Connections Franchise. Emily has also taken on the role of Brand Ambassador at Clinique and UX/UI Intern at Bakelab LLC. Additional roles include Web Developer for Society of Gen Z and Director of Design at Youth4SciTech, as well as Event Coordinator for Girls Tech Together. Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Emily is expected to graduate in June 2026.
