Danso Amoah

Head of Legal & Company Secretary at Hacklab Foundation

Danso Amoah has worked in the legal field since 2013. Danso began as a Legal Intern at Obeng Manu & Co, Sarpomaa Chambers. In 2017, they became an Associate and Legal Intern at KIMATHI & PARTNERS, Corporate Attorneys. In 2018, they became the Head of Legal & Company Secretary at Hacklab Foundation, a non-profit that focuses on helping Ghanaian and African youth compete for jobs globally. In this role, they provide the company and its officers with advice on company and contract law.

Danso Amoah is currently enrolled in Harvard Law School, where they are pursuing a Master of Laws (LLM) degree with a focus on Trade Policy, Chinese Legal Studies, Political Economy, and Law & Development. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Faculty of Law, KNUST, Ghana in 2016. From 2012 to 2016, they attended Ghana School of Law, where they earned a B.L. Professional Law. Danso also holds a West African Senior School Certificate Examination from St. Augustine’s College, Cape Coast, which they obtained in 2012. Additionally, they are a Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana, certified by the General Legal Council in 2018, and holds a Certificate in International Oil & Gas Law from the Leitner Center for International Law and Justice, obtained in 2014.
