Dr. Mario Kolar

Dr. Mario Kolar has an extensive work experience in various industries. Dr. Mario has held roles at Hager Group as the Product Portfolio Director, Prokurist, and the Site Leader Karlsruhe, Head of Engineering. At Hager Group, they were responsible for leading the "Connected Building" portfolio activities and developing "Smart Home" solutions. Dr. Kolar also worked at Ecole de Management Strasbourg as a Guest Lecturer in Project & Change Management. Additionally, they served as the Research & Innovation Program Manager at Valeo, where they focused on collaborating with international startups in the field of Thermal Management. Prior to that, they worked at Eaton as the Senior Innovation Manager, Strategic Projects, and Innovation Manager. Dr. Kolar also gained experience at Valvoline, Miami University, Procter & Gamble, Palfinger, UEFA, and Fachhochschule Salzburg - University of Applied Sciences in various roles.

Dr. Mario Kolar's education history includes a variety of degrees and certifications. In 2020-2021, they pursued a degree in Elektro- & Informationstechnik (Electrical and Information Technology) from TH Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences. In 2019-2020, they completed a Transformational Leadership program at Vlerick Business School. Prior to that, they earned an Engineering Certificate from Hochschule für angewandte Wissenschaften Kempten in 2018-2019. In 2010-2011, they obtained an MBA in General Management from Miami University. In 2005-2011, they completed a Doctorate (Dr. rer.soc.oec) in Social and Economic Sciences (Innovation/Design Management) from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz. Dr. Mario also has a Diploma in Business and Information Management from Fachhochschule Salzburg, which they obtained in 2000-2004. Additionally, they participated in various exchange programs at Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte (Riga Technical University) in 2004, Arkansas State University in 2003, and Lapland University of Applied Sciences in 2002.
