Arijit Goon

Arijit Goon has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Arijit is currently serving as the Head Of Procurement (India and SEA) at Topsoe, a leading developer and provider of solutions and technologies for the energy transition. Prior to this, Arijit held the position of Chief-Commercial at Exide Industries Limited. Arijit also worked at GE Power as a Global Commodity Leader in Strategic Sourcing and Regional Commodity Leader for India.

Before joining GE Power, Arijit worked at ALSTOM PROJECTS INDIA LIMITED as a Senior Manager, where they were responsible for procurement planning and execution of raw materials for projects. Arijit also managed a team overseeing customs clearance, licenses, and inbound logistics.

Arijit had earlier worked at Essar Oil Limited as a Manager in the Profit and Loss department. Arijit also gained experience as an Assistant Manager Materials at Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd and an Engineer at Berger Paints (I) Ltd.

Arijit began their career as an Engineer at Alpha Beta Engineering Construction Pvt. Ltd. Overall, their work experience reflects a strong background in procurement, commercial operations, and strategic sourcing.

Arijit Goon earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Nagpur University from 1996 to 2000. Arijit then pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Indian Institute of Materials Management in Mumbai from 2008 to 2010.
