Mahesh Venkatachalam

Mahesh Venkatachalam has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Mahesh is currently working as the Development Team Lead for Supplements and Lip Care at Haleon, a position they started in July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at GSK Consumer Healthcare India as the Development Team Lead for Global Wellness- Food/Dietary Supplements from May 2019 to July 2022. From November 2013 to August 2019, they served as the Principal Scientist for Consumer Healthcare at Pfizer. Before that, they worked as a Staff Scientist at The Hershey Company from January 2009 to November 2013. Mahesh also held the role of Project Coordinator at Roquette from February 2007 to December 2008. Additionally, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Purdue University from August 2004 to January 2007, and as an R&D Executive at Wockhardt from June 1996 to May 1999.

Mahesh Venkatachalam received a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Institute of Chemical Technology in 1994. Mahesh then pursued a Master's degree in Bioprocess technology from the same institute, completing it in 1997. Mahesh furthered their education by obtaining a PhD in Food and Nutrition from Florida State University, which they completed in 2004.
