Yasmin Cespedes-Zaman, LMSW, is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in program management, research, and social justice. Currently serving as Program Manager at #HALFTHESTORY since September 2023, Yasmin previously worked as a Graduate Consultant and Analyst at the International Rescue Committee, contributing to research and analysis from September 2022 to May 2023. Prior experience includes roles at the Action Lab for Social Justice as a Researcher & Activist, and as a Case Manager for the Family Reunification Program at Catholic Charities. Yasmin also coordinated programs at the Children's Defense Fund, managed grants, and interned with organizations such as Save the Children International and U.S. Fund for UNICEF. Yasmin holds a Master of Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and International Development Studies from Emory University, complemented by an International Baccalaureate Diploma from the United Nations International School.
