Jill Marchant has extensive work experience in the legal field. Jill began their career at Morrison & Foerster LLP, where they worked in various practice groups, gaining experience in Corporate Finance, Bankruptcy & Workouts, Labor & Employment, and Litigation. After leaving Morrison & Foerster, they worked as a Senior Counsel at Honeywell FM&T, specializing in labor and employment law. Jill then moved on to roles as the Associate General Counsel - Litigation & Employment for Applebee's International, Inc. and later as the Associate General Counsel - Litigation & Employment for DineEquity, Inc., where they managed litigation-related matters and provided legal advice on employment and litigation issues.

In 2011, Jill joined Texas Roadhouse as General Counsel, where they built and led a team of legal professionals and supported the company's day-to-day operations and long-term strategies. Jill also served on the company's Executive and Leadership teams and was involved in supporting women in leadership through the Women's Leadership Group.

In 2014, they transitioned to the role of General Counsel at Farm Credit Mid-America, leading a team of legal professionals and supporting an agriculture lending cooperative serving farmers and rural residents in multiple states. Under their leadership, the Farm Credit Mid-America Legal team was recognized for their outstanding work.

In 2018, Jill became the Executive Vice President, General Counsel, & Secretary at Hallmark Cards, where they currently serve.

Jill Marchant completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English at Brigham Young University from 1983 to 1987. Jill then attended BYU Law School from 1987 to 1990, earning their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
