Director, IT End User Services & Collaboration at Halozyme Therapeutics

Daniel Becker has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Daniel currently holds the position of Director, IT End User Services & Collaboration at Halozyme, Inc., where they are responsible for the development of IT strategic plans for collaboration and communication platforms. Prior to this, they served as the Associate Director, Digital Collaboration and Communication Platforms at the same company, where they played a key role in developing strategies and roadmaps for leveraging Microsoft portfolio. Additionally, Daniel served as the IT Collaborations and Communications Lead at Halozyme Therapeutics, overseeing the IT collaboration and communication portfolio.

In addition to their roles at Halozyme, Daniel also has experience working at Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals as an IT Manager, where they managed information technology for the entire company and served as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. Daniel also provided freelance IT support to small to mid-sized companies in the Greater Los Angeles area, including Leading Edge Aviation, where they served as the Information Technology Manager and improved the security of hangar networks and led integration projects with external systems of major airline carriers.

More recently, Daniel took on the role of Planning and Economic Commissioner at the City of Duarte, contributing to the city's planning and economic development initiatives. Daniel Becker has a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems and Services from the University of Phoenix. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Mt Sierra College. In addition, they have obtained the Microsoft Certified Professional Client and Server certification. This certification was obtained in October 2005 from Microsoft.
