Azamat Utenov

Azamat Utenov has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Azamat started their career at Bank TuranAlem in 2002, where they worked in the Treasury Department as a Trader until 2007. Azamat then joined Nomura International, first as an Associate Director in Fixed Income from 2007 to 2008, and later as a Vice President from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they became the Head of Trading at JSC "Asyl-invest" until 2011. From 2011 to 2012, they served as the Head of Representative Office at Schildershoven Finance B.V. Azamat then joined Halyk Finance as the Head of Treasury from 2012 to 2016. In 2017, they transitioned to QAZKOM (Kazkommertsbank JSC) as the Head of Treasury until 2018. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Treasury at Halyk Bank, starting in 2019.

Azamat Utenov attended KIMEP University from 2012 to 2013, where they obtained an Executive MBA. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2002, they attended Kazakh Economic University named after T. Ryskulov, but no specific degree or field of study was provided for that period.
