Mourad Ouzzani

Mourad Ouzzani has extensive work experience in the research field. Mourad began their career at CS, Purdue University as a Visiting Assistant Professor in June 2004. Mourad then joined Purdue University as a Research Assistant Professor in March 2006 and later became a Research Associate Professor in July 2010. In 2011, they transitioned to the Qatar Computing Research Institute, HBKU, where they held positions as a Senior Scientist from June 2011 to May 2015, a Principal Scientist from May 2015 to November 2022, and currently serves as a Research Director since November 2022.

Mourad Ouzzani's education history begins in 1983 when they attended Lycée Technique d'Alger and obtained their Baccalauréat degree. Mourad then proceeded to Université des Sciences et de la Technologie 'Houari Boumediène' from 1986 to 1994, where they obtained a BSc and MSc degree in Computer Science. Later, from 1999 to 2004, Mourad Ouzzani pursued their PhD in Computer Science at Virginia Tech.
